Pacekids
Pacekids Programs is a Calgary charity that supports children with special needs through education and therapy. We first opened our door in 1994 thanks to a small group of parents and we are excited to be celebrating 25 years of helping children with special needs thrive.
Pacekids has grown from its humble beginnings to a charity that now operates two preschools and offers programs and therapeutic services across the city to meet the children and families needs, whatever and wherever that may be. This includes providing support in the family home or in the community (such as a park, store or the zoo), in addition to the preschool.
Every year, we assist over 500 children and their families and this year we opened our sixth and final classroom at our south school, which will allow us to support nearly 600 children with special needs.
As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, Pacekids programs looks forward to working with the community and helping children with special needs thrive for many years to come.
